Anne C. Gable

About the Artists:

Anne C. Gable is a multi-media artist making prints, collages and sculptural objects that communicate a personal geography. The process of collage is fundamental to her work. She constructs unique two and three-dimensional pieces from original and appropriated materials, always beginning with a single image or object or fragment that she is drawn to, and developing this “kernel” in a way that transforms it. Gable received her BA in English literature from Vassar College and attended the California College of the Arts with a concentration in printmaking, bookmaking and sculpture.
