Colored Stones is an artist’s book inspired by a lecture by Wade Davis entitled, “The Wayfinders,” This book is a tribute to the indigenous voices of humanity that are cataclysmically being silenced or displaced. Its message is to embrace a world of diversity acknowledging that the spirit of all peoples is something to preserve and behold.
Colored Stones was hand painted, with natural ground stone pigment watercolors, and created by Tracy Harp. The typeface of the cover is eighteen point Century embossed on 300 pound Lanaquarelle paper.
