About the :
Nikki Thompson is a poet and book artist, creating works under her imprint, Deconstructed Artichoke Press. Growing up in Southern California, she attended UC Berkeley, where she earned a degree in architecture and edited the Berkeley Fiction Review. She remained in the Bay Area and received her MFA in creative writing from CCA(C) in 2002. She has worked extensively with Small Press Traffic and the San Francisco Center for the Book. She currently teaches special education at the South San Francisco Unified School District.
